What the numbers establish
The listed 4.8-ACH areas differ by 18 ft². Both figures describe a specific cleaning-rate assumption, rather than a whole-home guarantee. Match the unit to the room you will actually use it in.
Do not treat the CADR row as a matched test. Blueair identifies three pollutant scores; the cited Levoit list gives a single figure without naming the pollutant. We do not calculate an airflow advantage from those two entries.
*Noise needs a closer check. Blueair's technical and FAQ ranges disagree. Neither brand's lowest number establishes sound at an equal clean-air delivery rate. We therefore do not name a quietness winner.
