Aqara U100
Fingerprint, keypad and Apple home key entry for a compatible deadbolt door. Include hub requirements in the buying decision.
What changes the decision
The U100 gives a household several ways to unlock the same door without requiring every visitor to use an app. Measure door thickness, backset and bore, and check mechanical alignment before choosing it.
The retailer package lists a standalone lock with batteries and mechanical keys. Do not assume an Aqara hub or NFC cards are included; Aqara also sells a separate kit with different contents.
Remote access and automations require the appropriate hub. Matter support uses a compatible Aqara hub and controller; Apple Home remote features also have Apple hub requirements. This is not a native Thread or built-in Wi-Fi lock.
A deadbolt and a lever lock are different installations. Confirm current ecosystem compatibility and the complete delivered hardware cost.
