What changes the decision
The selected retailer package is Matte Black DDL240X-15HBG-MB with a Wi-Fi bridge and two mechanical keys. Wi-Fi remote access uses that separate bridge; this is not described as a built-in-Wi-Fi deadbolt.
The current manufacturer manual for the 15HB family lists PIN codes, mechanical keys and the Philips Home Access app. The retailer and manufacturer marketing mention fingerprint access, but the manual does not establish it for this family. No fingerprint feature is promised here.
Check the actual door against the installation template, current supported app and bridge requirements. Four AA alkaline batteries are required; the manufacturer manual says they are purchased separately. Do not assume batteries, handlesets or other accessories beyond the listed package are included.
The retailer description contains a DDL204X typo; its selected variant SKU is DDL240X-15HBG-MB and matches the manufacturer offer. Biometrics and revision-specific door-position features remain unverified and are not buying promises.
