What changes the decision
U-tec confirms that the built-in Wi-Fi version needs no separate Wi-Fi bridge. Compare the complete package: a cheaper family listing may be a different model.
Fingerprint, keypad, app and mechanical-key entry provide different access options. Check the manufacturer installation guide against the actual door before ordering.
The manufacturer gives the Wi-Fi model battery-life guidance of three to six months. Actual use affects replacement intervals. A general family claim of up to a year should not be applied to this version.
