MOVA LiDAX Ultra 1000 vs 2000: area, drive and package

Compare the quarter-acre and half-acre rear-wheel-drive models without confusing them with the AWD range.

Researched 18 October 2026 · Manufacturer specifications and selected retailer configuration.

Area is the first difference to check

The 1000 is listed for up to a quarter acre; the 2000 for up to half an acre. Measure the actual grass you will mow, excluding buildings, beds and paving. Charging time, grass growth, disconnected zones and weather reduce the flexibility suggested by a maximum area.

Both selected models use rear-wheel drive

These offers use LiDAR and vision rather than a boundary wire or RTK base station. The 2000 in this comparison is not the separately named AWD model. Neither offer guarantees reliable coverage of every narrow passage or wet slope.

The current price gap

The selected retailer showed $1,099 for the 1000 and $1,199 for the 2000 on 18 October 2026. A $100 difference is worth considering if the smaller model leaves too little area headroom. It is not a reason to skip a property-specific suitability check.

Check the full package

Confirm the US charging supply, model identity, connectivity service and any renewal fees before buying. Do not assume a bonus charging station or other manufacturer-store promotion applies to these retailer offers. Allow for blades, edge trimming, cleaning and seasonal storage.
